The GF-MC 10 rock wool micro cubes are ideal for propagation, hydroponic systems and laboratory use. The uniform 10x10x10mm size ensures consistent water retention and aeration for healthy root development.

    Target Applications

Orchids, including Paphiopedilum and selected nursery-stage orchid crops; Anthurium and other high-value specialty plants subject to crop trials.

    Key Benefits

    RELIABLE WETTING AND REWETTING

Stable hydrophilic treatment allows the cubes to absorb irrigation solution readily and rewet consistently after drying.

    MANAGEABLE WATER AIR BALANCE

Porous fibers retain moisture inside each cube, while physical gaps between cubes help maintain air space throughout the container.

    STABLE ROOT ZONE STRUCTURE

The inorganic fibrous structure maintains its physical form without decomposing like organic substrate components.

    ROOT PENETRATION

The porous fiber structure allows developing roots to enter and grow through the cubes.

    FLEXIBLE APPLICATION

Suitable for stand-alone use or incorporation into customized substrate blends.

    General Use Guidance

    1. Pre-wet the cubes evenly with a crop-appropriate nutrient solution before potting.
    2. Fill containers evenly without excessive compression.
    3. Adjust irrigation according to crop, pot size, climate, water quality and substrate composition.
    4. Conduct a small commercial trial before large-scale conversion from bark or other media.

    Important Notes

    • Rock wool is an inert growing medium and does not supply a complete nutrient program.Irrigation practices used for bark or coarse organic media may not transfer directly to rock wool.
    • Repotting should be determined by root volume, salt accumulation, plant health and sanitation requirements.

The information in this document is provided in good faith and is based on current product knowledge and grower observations. Crop performance may vary according to plant material, climate, water quality, nutrition, container design and cultivation management.
